12.09.2012 - Airia launches an updated version of the Airia on-line shop
Airia Compressed Air Solutions is excited to announce the re-launch of the very popular 'Airia online shop'. The new look website, which first came online at the start of 2010, relaunches today & reflects the evolution and progress of the business in recent years.
With an increased product portfolio of over a thousand items including a wide range of air compressors, air-line fittings, spares and pneuamtic equipment, the redesigned shop offers a sleek new interface, enhanced e-commerce features, intelligent navigation tools and a streamlined, user-friendly shopping experience
Included under the re-launch, (& available now to buy on-line) are a wide range of affordable workshop & workplace air compressors branded under the Airia brand name.

09.11.2012 - Airia supplies new 160kw Variable Speed Compressor to large manufacturing plant in Gosport, Hampshire.
Airia Compressed Air Solutions has just completed the recent supply, delivery & installation of a new BOGE SLF221 (160kw) Variable speed air compressor (With Heat Recovery) at our customers premises in Gosport, Hampshire.
The equipment was supplied by Airia Compressed Air Solutions as part of a site energy reduction project.

Airia Compressed Air Solutions, the local compressed air specialists, today present a free of charge document that addresses typical compressed air energy saving issues associated with compressed air, such as leak detection monitoring and waste heat recovery.
Company Director Andrew Drummond (who compiled the document) commented "Rising electricity prices over recent years have added yet another challenge to businesses striving to maintain profitability. In response to these rising prices, compressed air technology is developing to help businesses recoup the cost of energy, which is estimated to account for up to 75 percent of the lifetime costs of compressed air generation. 17.05.2015 - Airia Compressed Air Solutions is expanding its business.
Airia Compressed Air Solutions have purchased the industrial unit they have leased since the firm was established by Paul Brewer & Andrew Drummond in 2009.
The Romsey based business, which has become one of the South’s leading Compressed Air Solutions providers, now plan to develop the premises, creating a new office layout, modernising the existing workshop and expanding their own trade counter all of which they hope will lead to at least two new jobs.
Company Director Paul Brewer said: “Securing the premises has been a long-cherished ambition for the business. The fact that we can finally claim ownership after only our 6th year of trading makes the purchase ever more satisfying and significant. The purchase of our modern purpose built building comes at a time of continuing growth for Airia as a whole. Complete acquisition of the premises ensures we have ample space for forthcoming expansion plans and security of a long-term future.”
“Our initial lease of the premises from our commencement of trading back in 2009 was a key part of our strategic plan to operate efficiently, and provide a productive working environment for our staff. Owning the building secures the future of the company and the jobs of our valued employees. It also gives us the scope to grow the business and expand in ways that were unachievable in the past.”

The expansion has come thanks to a loan from NatWest. Relationship manager Mark Downer said: “NatWest has a strong relationship with Airia Compressed Air Solutions, having worked with the business since its beginnings in 2009. We are pleased to offer it the support necessary to achieve this milestone and help safeguard its future.”
Airia currently employ 10 people and provide new & used Air Compressors, pipework installation, as well as equipment servicing & spare parts supply.
18.01.2016 - Airia Compressed Air Solutions appointed as Atlas Copco Compressors premier distributor.
Airia Compressed Air Solutions, based in Romsey, Hampshire, has been appointed as an authorised premier distributor for Atlas Copco's
range of energy-efficient industrial air compressors, rough vacuum pumps, nitrogen generators, quality air products and spare parts in
Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Becoming an Atlas Copco premier distributor represents the latest major milestone in Airia Compressed Air Solutions’ progress, but
Managing Director Paul Brewer has no intention of letting the company rest on its laurels: “Our commercial success and growth to date
result from our focus on providing customers with greater efficiency and productivity, and this new partnership expands our offering to
include compressed air and vacuum equipment that can further enhance their performance and reliability, and help reduce installation,
running and maintenance costs.”
Airia Compressed Air Solutions’ appointment as an Atlas Copco premier distributor gives the company access to the GX and GA ranges
of rotary screw stationary compressors including VSD and VSD+ variants, scroll and piston compressors, rough vacuum pumps, nitrogen
generators, as well as compressed air treatment equipment, pipework and accessories.
In addition, the company provides a wide range of value added services to its customers including preventative maintenance, spare parts,
repairs and reconditioning, air audits, air leak detection and air quality testing, and operates a 24/7 emergency callout service.
Formed in 2009 by Paul Brewer and Andy Drummond, Airia Compressed Air Solutions has a workforce comprising 10 employees, including
5 factory trained service engineers and an apprentice, with the dedicated team having in excess of 100 years combined experience in
compressed air sales and service management between them.
Key accounts management is high on the two owners’ agenda, as is applying their specialist knowledge to provide customers with sound
guidance on all aspects of the latest compressed air legislation.
Airia will continue to service & maintain the complete range of Boge products, and remain fully able to support all their existing customers
who have purchased BOGE Compressed Air Equipment from them previously.

Today, Airia received an order for what will be their 50th Atlas Copco GA/GX Air Compressor sold during 2016.
A quite remarkable achievement when considering the switch in supply of compressor manufacturers sold by Airia, made only at the start of this year.
One of the keys to this success is Airia's dedicated staff, whose teamwork has played a major part in the Airia success story.Their highly experienced team are totally committed to sales and service, and this, combined with their keen understanding of customers’ needs in the Southern UK area, has contributed to this amazing level of new equipment sales.
Airia have also focused on customers energy saving potential & carried out many full-site air audits and leak surveys using the latest Atlas Copco iiTrak loggers, to help both new & existing customers reduce energy consumption and save on bills.
Stocking Atlas Copco compressor units, quality air products and spare parts has directly contributed to achieving this level of sales, as it means Airia are able to anticipate and meet the needs of customers quickly and effectively. This, and the fact Airia are keenly aware of customers’ requirements for cost-effective and efficient compressed air solutions, has set Airia apart from local competitors, leading to the success enjoyed today.
This sales result achieved so far has also been achieved by making the most of the diverse offering of Atlas Copco compressed air equipment, which encompasses compressors and ancillary products, such as in-line filters, compressed air dryers, oil condensate removal systems and pipe work installations, as well as parts, maintenance and services that contribute to more efficient compressed air systems.
Airia quickly identified the potential of the new GA VSD+ small compressor range, which offers compressed air users breakthrough energy savings of up to 50%. This has been a critical part of the success this year (24 of the 50 units sold this year have been variable speed compressors).

10.04.2017 - New Appointment:
Airia Compressed Air Solutions is pleased to announce the new appointment of Simon Taylor as Service Support Engineer.
Simon is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in all areas of compressed air technology, and his appointment is most important in the development of our customer support programme, and this appointment is very significant to the ongoing development of the business.
Simon spent several years as a service engineer working on all makes and models of compressors, but more specifically CompAir and Hydrovane, before moving into a technical support role within the Atlas Copco multibrand group of companies, covering the UK & specialising in the training & support on the full range of Abac & Alup compressors, controllers and ancillary equipment.
"We hope that all our customers will be able to take advantage of the added capabilities that Simon brings to our company. His addition will only help to strengthen our commitment to the best customer service support locally" said Airia Managing Director Paul Brewer on today's announcement.

19.01.2018 - New Field Service Engineer Service Software
Hampshire based Air Compressor specialists Airia Compressed Air Solutions has rolled out Protean Software Mobile Workforce Management Technology across its operation. Based out of Romsey for over 9 years, the company sells, maintains & installs Compressed Air Solutions for major manufacturing clients all over the Southern UK Region.
The company switched from a contract management software system to Protean’s All-in-one, Paperless server based system that combines back-office CRM (Customer Relationship Management), Job Planning and Scheduling and a Mobile App for engineers and real-time tracking of vehicles.
Airia Director Andrew Drummond scoured the market for a technology solution that would take the business paperless and provide real-time visibility across the operation.
“As our business grew, planning and scheduling work became increasingly challenging and at times it was difficult to keep track of when things were due. We looked at various systems but couldn’t find anything that was the right fit. Then we discovered Protean; it was as if I had written the software myself. It ticked all the boxes, and the PDA/Mobile App Technology was unlike anything we’d seen before,” said Andy.
Airia Compressed Air Solutions are using a specific version of the Protean Software system that allows back-office users to plan, manage, schedule and track work effectively including planned maintenance and urgent reactive work. In the back-office, the system is enabling planners to respond faster to customers and is intelligently allocating work orders based on real-time engineer availability, skills, live location and parts stock. This is significantly increasing productivity; minimising customer wait time and driving first time fix at competitive cost for clients. The integrated CRM is also providing customers with a joined-up experience, thanks to automated job booking confirmations, service reminders, ETA updates on the day of service and instant access to job-cards and reports instantly after work has been completed.
Director Andy Drummond said, “Customers now expect real-time information as standard. Our back-office team were inundated with calls from clients wanting to check the status of an order or service. This led to multiple phone calls to engineers out in the field. Protean has empowered the team with real-time information. Our use of the system has been key to winning a number of new contracts. Without the system, we’d need more administrators in the back-office, so from a commercial perspective, the technology is adding real-value for us. For me as a Director, I have the confidence that we have a robust system in place to ensure we maintain our reputation for customer excellence.”
Airia’s service engineers benefit from an easy to use Android mobile app. They start their day by completing an electronic timesheet, before instantly accessing job information. On arrival, the app guides them step by step through health & safety and job-specific workflows. Proof-of-service is instantly relayed to the back office and the system generates fully branded job-cards that are automatically shared via the customer’s email.
