A QR Code (Abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a specific matrix barcode (or teo-dimensional code) that is readable by dedicated QR readers, smartphones, and to a less common extent, computers with webcams.
A;though initally used for tracking parts in vehicle manufacturing, QR codes now are used in a much broader contect. Uses now extend from commercial tracking to entertainment & from product marketing to in-store product labeling.
The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded may be text, URL, or other data.
After downloading the QR software to you mobile phone, scan the QR Code with your smartphone and our website will automatically appear on your smart phone
10/05/2011 - New appointment
Airia Compressed Air Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Carl Langran as Field Service Engineer. This appointment brings Airia to a total employee count of 6.
In 2010 Carl completed his 3 year engineering apprenticeship with Atlas Copco as a Trainee Engineer, & then was promoted into the role of Field Service Engineer working all other the South.
"We hope that all our customers will be able to take advantage of the added capabilities that Carl brings to our company. His addition will only help to strengthen our commitment to the best customer service support locally" said Airia Managing Director Paul Brewer on today's announcement.
Commenting on his new appointment Carl said: "After an enjoyable 4 years at Atlas Copco I am excited at the opportunity of joining Airia during such a busy time. With their continued growth & such great demand for their services, I look forward to the challenge ahead."
Carl lives locally in Eastleigh with his partner and young daughter and enjoys going to the Gym, Car Repairs and DIY.
01/04/2011 - New appointment
Airia Compressed Air Solutions has promoted Mike Doe to the newly created position of Sales Engineer.
Mike joined Airia in 2010 as a Service Engineer and prior to joining Airia spent 3 years with Atlas Copco as a Compressed Air Field Service Engineer & Technical Operations Supervisor.
"With Mike's experience in this field, he is key to the continued growth which Airia has seen in the previous 12 months. Mike's promotion is testimony to the firm’s commitment to develop and nurture talent from within and demonstrates the significant achievements Mike has made since joining us in 2010" said Airia Managing Director Paul Brewer on today's announcement.
Commenting on his promotion, Mike said, “I am looking forward to this exciting, new challenge and the opportunity to continue to provide our customers old & new with exceptional service and innovative solutions in these changing times for the compressed air industry"
Mike lives locally in Southampton with his partner and children and enjoys occasional mountain biking, DJ'ing and DIY.
14/03/2011 - Quality Award for Airia Compressed Air Solutions
Following an assessment by an independent body, Airia Compressed Air Solutions has been awarded ISO 9001 certification. This certification has only been achieved by about 5% of UK businesses and this prestigious award is supported by the Government and recognised world-wide.
"We have always been proud of the service we offer our customers and the way we conduct our business. Now with the award of ISO 9001 certification, this has been confirmed by outside experts who are used to judging standards on a daily basis in a wide variety of trades and industries" said Airia Managing Director Paul Brewer on today's announcement.
Steve Reeder, who undertook the assessment for QMS International plc, paid particular tribute to the "Investment in people and training that enables Airia Compressed Air Solutions to provide an efficient service to their customers".

Mike brings with him over 8 years extensive experience working within Mechanical & Aircraft Engineering.
Mike spent 8 years working for the Aircraft Industry, and more recently 3 years with Atlas Copco as a Compressed Air Field Service Engineer & was promoted in 2009 to Technical Operations Supervisor.
Mike's Mechanical Engineering skills coupled with manufacturers' field service training will ensure additional continuity of high level workmanship our customers have grown to expect.
01/09/2010 - New appointment
Underlining their commitment to continued growth, Hampshire based Airia Compressed Air Solutions has taken on a new apprentice service engineer.
James Head lives locally in Chandlers Ford and is now training to be a service engineer, including day release at the Local Eastleigh Technical College. The advanced apprenticeship will last three years.
“Despite the current difficult trading conditions, we believe it is vital for the future of our company and the industry to maintain an active apprenticeship programme,” said Airia managing director Paul Brewer.
“Both Directors have served apprenticeships in the trade and the ongoing training of local youngsters is the key to so many elements of sustainability, both in the industry and in the economy and community at large.”
05/06/2010 - New appointment

Justin brings with him a quality skillset with over 11 years experience working within Mechanical Engineering.
Justin has spent 8 years working for the Merchant Navy, and more recently 3 years with Atlas Copco as a Compressed Air Field Service Engineer.
Justin's Mechanical Engineering skills coupled with manufacturers' field service training will ensure additional continuity of high level workmanship our customers have grown to expect.
