Airia service engineer Sam Hirst is the latest member of the service team to undergo F-GAS category 1 training. The F-Gas Register is the online F-Gas company certification register, as appointed by the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) under the 2015 no310 UK Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulations
Sam is now qualified for Leakage checking (5 tonnes CO2 equivalent or more), recovery of refrigerants, installation,
decommissioning, repairs, maintenance and servicing of refrigeration equipment.
This new certification will allow Sam to carry out service and repairs on all makes and models of refrigerant compressed air dryers.
